The World Association of Chefs′ Societies at the Global Chef's Challenge finals for Northern Europe in 2007 awarded the chef of the Bergs restaurant, Kaspars Jansons, with the 8th place and with a special prize for the best choice of wine to accompany the taste bouquet for the meal prepared.
